PureLung™ Capsules Official Website: The Label, Read Plainly
PureLung is a dietary supplement in capsule form, 60 to a bottle. Two capsules are one serving, and each serving holds a 600 mg Proprietary Blend of eleven names with no single amount printed. The label names no disease, and no study tested the product. This site reads the label, the research and the cautions.
Quick facts, from the label
Format
Capsules, 60 per bottle
Key ingredients
Eleven names in one blend, Himalayan pink salt listed first
Serving Size: 2 Capsules. Servings Per Container: 30. A bottle of 60 capsules is 30 servings.
Proprietary Blend 600mg
One blend, 600 mg per serving. Amount per name is not printed. %DV is marked ** which means Daily Value not established.
First name: Himalayan Pink Salt
Names in a blend are listed from heaviest to lightest, so the salt is the largest name, at least about 55 mg.
AGP Choline, Bacopa, Lutein
Names 3, 4 and 5. The percentages after bacopa (20%) and lutein (5%) are standardization figures the label does not explain.
Bilberry leaf, B6, Ginkgo
Names 6, 7 and 8. Vitamin B6 is printed 'as Pyridoxine' with no milligram amount.
B12, Zeaxanthin, Green Tea
Names 9, 10 and 11. Green Tea Extract (50%) is last, so it is the lightest name, at most about 55 mg.
Daily Value note
** Daily Value not established (DV).
Inactive ingredients
Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate, Silica Dioxide.
Distributor
Distributed by: MJO, Sheridan, WY 82801. The manufacturer is not named, and no phone number is printed on this panel.
The seller is a U.S. authorized retailer, and this site is its information site. It is not the maker or the distributor named on the label, and it earns money when you buy through its order links. The label wins over any sales page, so the numbers here come from the bottle.
Simple picture02
Where does the air go, and what does a capsule have to do with it?
Air goes in through the nose or mouth, down the windpipe, and through branching tubes called bronchi into tiny air sacs. That is where oxygen passes into the blood (NHLBI, How the Lungs Work).
Nothing on the PureLung label says it changes any step in that path. The picture below is only a guide to the words used on lung pages. The rings and the moving dot follow a slow breath, about four seconds in and six out, and they are decoration, not a result.
Windpipe one tube from the throat
Bronchi two tubes, one for each lung
Smaller airways branch again and again
Air sacs where oxygen passes into the blood (NHLBI, How the Lungs Work)
Illustration only. It shows where air goes, not what any capsule does. Asthma narrows and inflames these tubes (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?); COPD damages them and the sacs (NHLBI, What Is COPD?).
Lung health in the sources we read comes down to a short list: do not smoke or vape, avoid polluted air, stay active, get your vaccines, and follow your clinician's plan if you have asthma or COPD (NHLBI, How the Lungs Work). A capsule is not on that list. See healthy lung habits and what the evidence says about lung detox.
The eleven names03
What is in PureLung capsules?
The label lists eleven names in one blend: Himalayan pink salt, cinnamon extract, AGP choline, bacopa monnieri, lutein, bilberry leaf powder, vitamin B6, ginkgo biloba powder, vitamin B12, zeaxanthin and green tea extract. Tap a ring cell to read about each one.
The names sit in order from the most by weight to the least. That order gives each one a ceiling, never an amount: the first name cannot be below about 55 mg and the last cannot be above about 55 mg. The label prints no single amount, so we do not guess one.
600 mgblend per 2 capsules
1. Himalayan Pink Salt
On the label
Name 1 of 11 in the 600 mg blend; no single amount is printed.
Most it could weigh
at least 55 mg and at most 600 mg per serving of 2 capsules.
Usually sold for
Used as a seasoning; marketed in lamps, inhalers and salt rooms.
Lung benefit in the sources we read
None found for this capsule or this name.
Watch for
Salt carries sodium. No sodium line is printed, so people on a low-sodium plan cannot tell how much the capsules add.
Eleven cells, one per name in the Proprietary Blend, in the order printed. Tap a cell to open it. No study tested the capsule.
1Himalayan Pink Salt55 to 600 mg
2Cinnamon Extractup to 300 mg
3AGP Cholineup to 200 mg
4Bacopa Monnieri (20%)up to 150 mg
5Lutein (5%)up to 120 mg
6Bilberry Leaf Powderup to 100 mg
7Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine)up to 85.7 mg
8Ginkgo Biloba Powderup to 75 mg
9Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin 1%)up to 66.7 mg
10Zeaxanthin (5%)up to 60 mg
11Green Tea Extract (50%)up to 54.5 mg
Bars show the most each name could weigh, worked out from the label order: names in a blend are listed from the heaviest down, so the n-th name cannot weigh more than 600 mg divided by n, and the first weighs at least 600 divided by 11, about 55 mg (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements). These are ceilings, not the amounts. The real amounts are not printed anywhere we can read.
Does PureLung work? What the claims say and what evidence exists
Nobody can say yet. We found no study of PureLung, and the label names no disease to test it against.
The front of the bottle prints four claims, each with an asterisk. The asterisk leads to the usual statement that FDA has not evaluated them (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements). Each one is set below next to what lung health experts say.
Front of the bottle“Respiratory Support & Lung Health*”'Respiratory support' and 'lung health' are not defined on the label. Lung health depends mostly on not smoking, clean air, activity and medical care; no study tested this capsule. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)
Front of the bottle“Supports healthy lung capacity*”Lung capacity is measured by a test such as spirometry (NHLBI), not by a supplement label. None of the eleven names has a lung-capacity trial in the sources we read. (NHLBI, Tests for Lung Disease)
Front of the bottle“Promotes natural respiratory defense*”'Defense' is not defined. The ALA names vaccines, clean air and not smoking as the proven steps; it calls detox and cleanse products unproven. (ALA, Can You Detox Your Lungs?)
Front of the bottle“Helps maintain clear, open airway*”Open airways in asthma and COPD are managed with medicines and a plan from a clinician (NHLBI). A capsule is not a replacement for that. (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?)
Common ad claim“Lung detox” or “lung cleanse”The American Lung Association says many detox claims are exaggerated, most such products are not FDA approved and lack adequate scientific data, and lungs are self-cleaning organs. (ALA, Can You Detox Your Lungs?)
Common ad claim“Replaces your inhaler”No supplement replaces a prescribed lung medicine. Asthma and COPD are managed with a plan and medicines from a clinician. (NHLBI, COPD Treatment)
Words as printed on the front of the bottle, and two phrases common in ads. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
Health claims need solid human evidence for the same product, and a testimonial never counts as proof (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). Lung "detox" and "cleanse" products in particular are unproven (ALA, Can You Detox Your Lungs?). See claims vs evidence.
Safety05
Is PureLung safe? Check before you order
Safety depends on you: your medicines, your lungs and your health. Answer five questions first, and keep taking every prescribed medicine.
Some of the eleven names can interact with medicines. Ginkgo can raise bleeding risk with blood thinners, green tea extract has been linked with rare liver injury, and vitamin B6 is harmful at very high long-term intakes (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements: What You Need To Know). Never use a capsule in place of a rescue inhaler or a controller medicine.
Read the bottle. The legible part of the side panel says to take 2 capsules, which is one serving, and then the text is cut off in the image we have. We will not make up the rest.
These four steps are a safe way to start, whatever your plan.
01
Check the seal and the bottle
On a new bottle, check that any safety seal is intact and that the label matches the one shown on this site: PureLung, 60 capsules, Dietary Supplement.
02
Read the directions on the bottle
The side panel text we can read says to take 2 capsules, then is cut off. Follow the directions printed on the bottle that arrives, and do not exceed them.
03
Check your medicines first
If you take a blood thinner, an asthma or COPD medicine, a diabetes, seizure or heart medicine, or an acid reducer, ask a pharmacist before starting.
04
Count the servings and keep your plan
A bottle holds 60 capsules, which is 30 servings of 2. Keep every inhaler and prescribed medicine going, and call your clinician about any change in breathing.
If you are curious about slow breathing, the timer below is a plain pacer and is not part of the product. Pulmonary rehabilitation programs teach paced breathing, and your clinician can tell you which technique suits you (NHLBI, COPD Treatment).
Ready4 in, 6 out
A plain timer for paced breathing, the kind of slow breathing taught in pulmonary rehabilitation programs (NHLBI, COPD Treatment). It does not clear, repair or detox anything and it is not part of PureLung. If you have asthma, COPD or any lung condition, ask your clinician which breathing technique suits you. Stop if you feel dizzy.

I commute on the train. Listing hop wouldn't load a panel. I waited for the bottle. Inhaler still sits in the same drawer. I keep it on the washer. Kept the box for the lot code.

Does PureLung work?

How do I take PureLung?
Follow the directions on the bottle. The part we can read says to take 2 capsules; the rest is cut off, so we give no more.
Is PureLung FDA approved?
No supplement is FDA approved. FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
Can PureLung replace my inhaler?
No. Keep every inhaler and prescribed medicine. Asthma and COPD plans come from your clinician (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?).
Can it help me quit smoking or vaping?
No. Free proven help exists through Smokefree.gov and 1-800-QUIT-NOW (CDC, Tips for Quitting Smoking).
Is PureLung safe?
It depends on your health and medicines. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take blood thinners, diabetes, seizure or asthma and COPD medicines, and stop if you react.
