PureLung Privacy Policy: What This Site Collects and Why
This information site collects very little. It has no accounts and no forms that store personal data. If you email us, we use what you send to reply. Orders are placed at the retailer's checkout, which collects your name, address and payment details under its own privacy notice. We do not sell personal data, and you can ask us to delete your messages.

Data01
What does this site collect?
The pages are static and load from a web host. Like any host, it may keep standard server logs, such as the time of a visit, the page asked for, the browser type and a shortened network address, to run the site and block abuse.
The site does not ask you to log in, and it has no comment forms. The FAQ search runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. If the owner adds analytics or a tool that sets cookies, this policy will be updated first and will list it, so you can choose.
| Item | By us | By the checkout |
|---|---|---|
| Name, address, email, phone | Only if you email us | Yes, to fill the order |
| Payment details | Never | Yes, by the payment processor |
| Browser and device facts | In server logs | Yes |
| Cookies | None that track you, at the time of writing | Likely, per its own notice |
| Health details | We ask you not to send them | No |
Messages02
What happens when you email us?
We read the message, reply and keep the thread to help with follow-ups. We use a photo or a detail only to check a page or answer your question. We do not add you to a mailing list without your consent, and we do not share your email with others for their marketing.
Please do not send payment card numbers, passwords or detailed health records. If you do, tell us to delete them. We may keep a short note of a reported error so we can show what changed and why.
Checkout03
What does the checkout do with your data?
The retailer's checkout takes your name, address, email, phone and payment details to fill the order, to ship it, to handle refunds and to meet legal duties. It may use a payment processor and a carrier. It sets its own cookies and has its own privacy notice, which you should read before you pay.
This site does not see your card details and cannot change what the checkout does. If you have a question about an order's data, call the order desk. Our contact page lists the phone and the email.
Cookies04
Do we use cookies or tracking?
Not for tracking, at the time of writing. The site does not set advertising cookies, and it does not run fingerprinting scripts. Order links carry rel="sponsored nofollow", and they may include a tag so the retailer can credit a sale to us. That tag is how we earn the commission we disclose in the footer.
Your browser may store a small item to remember a setting on your device, such as the position of a search box. It does not leave your device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Your choices05
What are your choices and rights?
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it and ask us to delete it. Write to us at [email protected] and give enough detail to find the message. We reply within a reasonable time. Some states give extra rights, such as the right to opt out of a sale of data, and we do not sell data, so there is nothing to opt out of here.
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and list material changes on the page.
Protection06
How do we protect what we hold?
We keep very little, and we keep it where few people can reach it. Email messages sit in a mailbox with a strong password and two-step sign-in. We limit who reads them. We delete messages we do not need. We do not store card numbers, because we never receive them.
No system is perfect, and no site can promise perfect safety. If we learn of a problem that exposes your data, we will tell you as the law requires and say what we are doing. You can help by not sending sensitive details and by using an email account you trust.
Retention07
How long do we keep things?
Messages are kept while we help you and for a reasonable time after, so we can answer follow-ups and show what we changed. A correction note is kept as long as the page is live. Server logs are kept for a short period, then removed or reduced. If you ask us to delete a message, we do so unless a law requires us to keep it.
The checkout and the carrier keep order data under their own rules, which can be longer because of tax, fraud and consumer laws. Ask the order desk about those.
Health data08
What about health information?
Health details are sensitive. We do not ask for them, and we do not need them to answer a question about the label or the site. If you send them, we use them only to reply, and we delete them on request.
Please remember that we cannot give medical advice. Do not use the contact form or email to describe a medical emergency. Call 911 for severe breathing trouble, chest pain or fainting. For a side effect, tell your clinician, and consider reporting to FDA's MedWatch program (FDA, MedWatch), which handles reports of this kind.
Third parties09
Who else may see data about site visits?
The web host and its network may see standard request data. Fonts and images on this site are served from the same host, so no outside font service sees your visit. Some links lead to outside sites, such as FDA or the NIH. Once you click, that site's own policy applies. The retailer's checkout is a separate site with its own policy.
We do not share your messages with advertisers. We may share data if a law requires it, to protect people from harm or to enforce our terms.
Changes10
Will this policy change?
It may, for example if we add analytics or a newsletter. We will update the policy first, change the date and list what is new. We will never apply a new use of your data to something you already sent, without asking you first. If you disagree with a change, you can stop using the site and ask us to delete what we hold. We keep earlier versions on request, so you can see what changed and when.
