The product and the label03
What does the label of PureLung say?
Start here for what is on the bottle.
What is PureLung?
A dietary supplement in capsule form, 60 capsules to a bottle, with a serving of 2 capsules and 30 servings. The label lists one Proprietary Blend of 600 mg with eleven names and no single amounts. It names no disease.
What are the ingredients in PureLung?
Himalayan pink salt, cinnamon extract, AGP choline, bacopa monnieri (20%), lutein (5%), bilberry leaf powder, vitamin B6, ginkgo biloba powder, vitamin B12, zeaxanthin (5%) and green tea extract (50%). Inactive: rice flour, magnesium stearate, silica dioxide.
How much of each ingredient is in a capsule?
The label does not say. It prints only the 600 mg total for the blend per serving of 2 capsules. Each name has a ceiling worked out from the weight order, shown on the blend page.
What do the four front claims mean?
They are soft phrases with asterisks: respiratory support and lung health, healthy lung capacity, natural respiratory defense and a clear, open airway. None is defined, and none is shown to be true of this product. See claims vs evidence.
Who makes PureLung?
The label names only MJO of Sheridan, WY as distributor. The manufacturer, facility and country of origin are not printed. See who makes PureLung.
Is the label on this site the real one?
It is the supplement facts panel as supplied by the seller. Always compare it with your bottle, and trust your bottle if they differ.
Does it work, and is it safe?04
Does PureLung work, and is it safe?
Short answers on evidence and safety.
Does PureLung work?
We found no study of PureLung and no lung trial of its eleven names, so no one can promise a result. Lung experts name quitting smoking, clean air, vaccines, activity and medicines as the steps that matter (ALA, Tips to Keep Your Lungs Healthy).
Can PureLung detox or clean my lungs?
The label makes no such claim, and the American Lung Association calls lung detox and cleanse products unproven (ALA, Can You Detox Your Lungs?). Lungs clean themselves.
Can PureLung replace my inhaler?
No. Keep every inhaler and prescribed medicine. Asthma and COPD plans come from your clinician (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?).
Is PureLung safe?
It depends on your health and medicines. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk, green tea extract has been linked with rare liver injury and vitamin B6 is harmful at very high long-term intakes. Ask a pharmacist first.
Is PureLung FDA approved?
No. FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
What are the side effects?
No study of the capsule lists them. Known cautions for single names include stomach upset, headache and bleeding or liver concerns. See side effects.
Is it safe with blood thinners?
Ask first. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners such as warfarin (MSK, Ginkgo).
Smoking, vaping, asthma and COPD05
What about smoking, vaping, asthma and COPD?
What a capsule can and cannot do for smoking, vaping, asthma and COPD.
Can PureLung help me quit smoking or vaping?
No. It makes no quit claim. Free proven help exists: 1-800-QUIT-NOW and Smokefree.gov (CDC, Tips for Quitting Smoking). See the quit guide.
Does it repair lungs damaged by smoking?
No evidence supports that. Quitting is the step that helps, and lung function can improve within months (NCI, Harms of Smoking and Benefits of Quitting).
Can it help with asthma?
The label makes no asthma claim and we found no evidence for the names. Asthma is managed with medicines and an action plan (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?).
Can it help with COPD?
The label makes no COPD claim and we found no evidence for the names. COPD has no cure and is treated with medicine, rehabilitation and quitting smoking (NHLBI, COPD Treatment).
Is a detox for vapers real?
We found no evidence for a supplement that detoxes after vaping. Quitting and free support are the proven path (Smokefree.gov, Quit Smoking or Vaping).
When is breathing trouble an emergency?
When it is sudden or severe, you cannot speak, your lips turn blue, or you have chest pain. Call 911 (MedlinePlus, Breathing Difficulty). See emergency signs.

How do you use PureLung?
Read the bottle for directions, since this site gives none.
How do I take PureLung?
Follow the directions on your bottle. The legible part says to take 2 capsules, which is one serving, and then the text is cut off in our image. We give no dose or timing of our own.
Can I take it on an empty stomach?
The label we can read does not say. Many capsules are gentler with food. Follow your bottle.
What if I miss a serving?
Skip it and return to the plan on the bottle. Do not double up.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Ask a pharmacist. B6, B12, ginkgo and green tea overlap with many other products.
How long until I notice anything?
No study set a time, so we give none. See the results timeline for a way to track changes.
Should I stop it before surgery?
Tell the surgeon. Ginkgo is a known bleeding concern (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements: What You Need To Know).
