How to use it
How to Take PureLung: Read the Bottle, Then Start Safely
Follow the directions printed on your bottle. The legible part of the label says to take 2 capsules, which is one serving, and then the text is cut off in the image we have, so we do not state a dose, timing or limit. Check your medicines first, keep every inhaler and prescription, and stop and call a clinician if anything feels wrong.

Directions01
What does the label say about how to take it?
Only part of it is readable. The side panel line reads "SUGGESTED USE: take 2 capsules ..." and is cut off after that. The rest, including how often, with what and for how long, is not visible in the image we have.
A seller graphic says "2 capsules daily after meal". A graphic is not a label statement, so we pass it along only as the seller's suggestion. Your bottle is the final word. If it reads differently, follow your bottle. If it is hard to read, ask the order desk or a pharmacist, and do not guess.

Steps02
What are the safe steps to start?
Four steps work for almost any supplement, and they matter more here because the formula is a blend.
- 01
Check the seal and the bottle
On a new bottle, check that any safety seal is intact and that the label matches the one shown on this site: PureLung, 60 capsules, Dietary Supplement.
- 02
Read the directions on the bottle
The side panel text we can read says to take 2 capsules, then is cut off. Follow the directions printed on the bottle that arrives, and do not exceed them.
- 03
Check your medicines first
If you take a blood thinner, an asthma or COPD medicine, a diabetes, seizure or heart medicine, or an acid reducer, ask a pharmacist before starting.
- 04
Count the servings and keep your plan
A bottle holds 60 capsules, which is 30 servings of 2. Keep every inhaler and prescribed medicine going, and call your clinician about any change in breathing.
Take them in order. The medicine check comes before the first capsule, not after a reaction. Many people skip it because the product feels "natural". Natural is not the same as safe, as the NIH's guide for supplement users says (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely).
Practical tips03
What about food, water and timing?
The label we can read says nothing about food. Many capsules sit better on the stomach with a meal and a full glass of water, and a seller graphic suggests after a meal. Those are common-sense habits, not instructions for this product.
Take the capsules at about the same time each day so your note is easier to read. Do not take them on an empty stomach if that has upset you before. Do not take extra to "catch up" after a missed serving. If you miss one, skip it and go back to the plan on the bottle. Never take more than the bottle says, since the blend holds names such as vitamin B6, which is harmful in very high long-term amounts (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6).
| Question | Safe default |
|---|---|
| How many capsules? | What the bottle says; 2 is one serving |
| With food? | Often gentler on the stomach; follow the bottle |
| At what time? | A steady time each day |
| Missed a serving? | Skip it; do not double |
| With other supplements? | Ask a pharmacist; B6, B12, ginkgo and green tea overlap |

See packsKeep your plan04
Should you keep taking your regular medicines?
Yes. Always. PureLung is not a medicine and does not replace one. For asthma, controller and rescue medicines and an action plan come first (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?). For COPD, treatment includes bronchodilators, rehabilitation and oxygen when prescribed (NHLBI, COPD Treatment).
Keep your inhaler where you can reach it, keep your follow-up visits, and tell your clinician what you take. If you want to try slow breathing, the breathing exercises guide has a plain timer, and your clinician can say which technique suits you.
Stopping a prescribed inhaler or pill on your own can cause a flare-up. Ask your clinician first.
Stop signs05
When should you stop?
Stop and call a clinician if you notice a rash, swelling, a new cough or wheeze, stomach pain that does not ease, yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, unusual bruising or bleeding, or any symptom you did not have before.
Call 911 for severe shortness of breath, trouble speaking, blue lips, chest pain or fainting (MedlinePlus, Breathing Difficulty). Report side effects to FDA's MedWatch program (FDA, MedWatch). Keep the bottle and the lot number. The side effects page lists the cautions per name, and the results timeline has a simple note to track changes.
