Name confusion
PureLung Name Confusion: How to Tell It Apart From Lookalike Products
Several lung supplements use names that sound alike, and some sellers copy bottle designs. PureLung is identified by its label: 60 capsules, a serving of 2, a 600 mg Proprietary Blend of eleven names, rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica dioxide, and MJO of Sheridan, WY as distributor. If your bottle differs, it may be a different product.

The question01
Is PureLung the same as another lung supplement?
Not unless the label matches. Lung supplements are a crowded group, and many share words such as lung, breath, pure and clear. Some have formulas with different names, different amounts or a different form, such as a spray or a powder.
This site covers one product, identified by its label. We make no claim about any other brand, and we do not copy another product's formula onto PureLung. If a seller says PureLung is "the same as" another product, ask for a label that shows it, and compare the names line by line.
| Feature | PureLung label |
|---|---|
| Form | Capsules, 60 per bottle |
| Serving | 2 capsules, 30 servings |
| Blend | Proprietary Blend, 600 mg, eleven names |
| First name | Himalayan pink salt |
| Inactive | Rice flour, magnesium stearate, silica dioxide |
| Distributor | MJO, Sheridan, WY 82801 |
Traps02
What lookalike traps should you know?
Three are common. A listing uses the PureLung name but shows a different label in the photos. A seller uses our product pictures with a different checkout behind them. Or a product with a similar name makes stronger claims, such as detox or inhaler replacement, which the PureLung label does not make.
- Different photo: a different label means a different product.
- Stronger claims: treat them as a red flag, not a feature.
- Low price: be careful, as Consumer Reports advises (Consumer Reports, Avoiding Counterfeits Online).
- Copy sites: check that the address is ipurelung.com.
We found no evidence that any other product is the same as PureLung. We found a marketplace listing for a two-pack of "120 capsules" and could not confirm it. If you find one and your bottle matches the label here, it may be a resale of the same product. If it does not match, it is not the same.
Quick check03
How do you check a listing quickly?
Take three steps. First, find the supplement facts photo in the listing and compare the serving size, the 600 mg blend and the first name. Second, read the distributor line. Third, check the seller's return terms.
If any step fails, do not buy. A listing that will not show the back of the bottle is hiding something or does not have the product. Ask for a photo of the back label and the lot. If they send one, compare it with the picture on our supplement facts page. The batch verify page adds checks for your own bottle after it arrives.
Medicine names04
What about names that sound like medicines?
A supplement name must not suggest it is a medicine for a disease. PureLung is a dietary supplement, and its label names no disease. Be careful of any product whose name or ad uses words that suggest a prescription, a test or an inhaler. FDA says supplements are not meant to treat, diagnose, prevent or cure disease (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
If a product claims to replace an inhaler, stop and ask a clinician. Inhalers are medicines with proven effects on the airways, and no supplement has been shown to replace them (NHLBI, What Is Asthma?).
If you did05
What should you do if you already bought the wrong one?
Keep the bottle and the packaging. Photograph the label and the lot. Contact the seller with your order ID and say what differs. If the seller does not answer, call your card issuer and ask about a dispute. Do not use a product you cannot identify.
If you think it is a copy or you feel unwell, report it to FDA's MedWatch program (FDA, MedWatch). If you meant to buy PureLung, use the order buttons on this site, which go to the authorized retailer's checkout.

See packsWhy it happens06
Why do lung supplements share so many similar names?
Names that sound alike are good for search, and a crowded group borrows words that readers already trust. Terms such as pure, clear, breath, lung, airway and respiratory appear on many bottles. A shopper who types a few of those words into a search box will see several products at once, and the results page can mix brands.
That is also why a search for "PureLung" can return pages about another formula, an inhaler, a lung test or a detox claim. The words are generic, and the owners of the names are different. To avoid mixing them up, anchor on the facts that do not change: the label lines, the distributor and the checkout. Everything else is a clue, not a proof. Our own pages use the brand name only for the product with the label shown here.
Seller notes07
What do the seller's own materials warn about?
The seller's pack tells writers not to copy another lung formula onto this product, and it does not print a formula in the sales link we could fetch. We took that to heart. The only formula on this site is the one shown on the supplement facts image, because the label wins over the pack.
We also did not use any other product's name in our text, and we checked our pages for names of other lung brands before they went live. If you see a page that mixes PureLung with another formula, treat it as a copy and tell us at the contact page. We will compare it and report if needed.
Photo reading08
How can you read a bottle photo from a listing?
Look for five details in the photo. The brand name on the front. The words under it, "Respiratory Support & Lung Health*". The count, "60 Capsules". The words "Dietary Supplement". And, on the back, the serving size of 2 capsules and the 600 mg blend.
If a photo shows only the front, ask for the back. If a photo is a render that looks too perfect, ask for a real photo of the stock. Sellers who ship real bottles can send one in a minute. A seller who cannot may be showing stock images for a product they do not hold. Keep screenshots of the listing and the message.
Safety09
Does a similar name change the safety checks?
No. Whatever you hold, read the label, check the names against your medicines, keep every inhaler and prescription, and call 911 for severe breathing trouble. A similar name does not carry a similar safety record, since each formula has its own names and amounts. A bottle that seems the same may hold a different blend, and a different blend can interact with different medicines.
