How is the panel laid out?
The panel gives a serving size of 2 capsules and 30 servings per container. Under it sits a single line: Proprietary Blend, 600 mg, followed by eleven names in descending order of weight (FDA, FDA 101: Dietary Supplements). The order matters, because the heaviest ingredient is named first.
Only the total is printed. The proprietary blend page shows the maximum each name could weigh.
The eleven names in plain words
Each name below is shown in the order the panel prints it, and the short note says what the ingredient is, not what it does in your body.
| Name | What it is | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Himalayan pink salt | A salt, so mostly sodium chloride with trace minerals |
| 2 | Cinnamon extract | A concentrate from cinnamon bark |
| 3 | AGP choline | Printed as AGP choline; the full name is not spelled out |
| 4 | Bacopa | A herb from a creeping marsh plant, used in Ayurvedic tradition |
| 5 | Lutein | A yellow plant pigment found in leafy greens |
| 6 | Bilberry leaf | Leaf powder from a European blueberry relative |
| 7 | Vitamin B6 | A B vitamin |
| 8 | Ginkgo | Leaf extract from the ginkgo tree |
| 9 | Vitamin B12 | A B vitamin |
| 10 | Zeaxanthin | A plant pigment related to lutein |
| 11 | Green tea extract | A concentrate from tea leaves |
The label prints a percentage beside five names: bacopa 20%, lutein 5%, zeaxanthin 5%, green tea extract 50% and vitamin B12 as cyanocobalamin 1%. It does not say what these figures measure, and they are not milligrams per serving. Check the exact spelling and order against your own bottle, because the label wins over any web page.
What do these have in common?
Look at the list as a whole and an odd thing appears: it reads as a mix of eye, brain, mineral and vitamin ingredients. Nothing on it is a recognised lung-specific compound. We say this plainly because the front of the bottle talks about respiratory support while the panel does not look specific to the lungs.
That does not make the capsule unsafe. It means the word lung on the front does not tell you what the blend contains, and the panel is the part to trust.
Which ones raise safety questions?
A few of the eleven names are known to interact with medicines or to cause problems at high doses, and the label does not tell you how much of each is present.
- Ginkgo may affect bleeding, so tell a clinician before surgery or if you take blood thinners (MSK, Ginkgo).
- Green tea extract has been linked to rare liver problems in high-dose products (NCCIH, Green Tea).
- Cinnamon types differ in coumarin content, and the label does not say which type.
- Himalayan salt adds sodium, though the amount is not printed.
The inactive ingredients are rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica dioxide. These are fillers and flow aids, and they carry no claim.

FAQ01
PureLung questions people ask
Does the panel say how much ginkgo is in it?
No. Only the 600 mg total is printed.
Is AGP choline a lung ingredient?
We found no evidence that it is. The name is also not spelled out on the label.
Are there allergens listed?
Check your own bottle for allergen text. The side panel text we saw was cut off.
Are the ingredients natural?
Many come from plants, but the label does not say natural, and we do not claim it.
Why does the front say lung?
It is marketing wording with an asterisk, not a feature of the blend.
